The Answer was Loud and Clear

A few years ago, I was searching for a used car and found one at a distant dealership that seemed like a good fit.  I began asking God for guidance and drove there a few days later, praying the whole way that He would make the answer clear.

When I arrived, things felt uncertain.  The initial salesman didn’t make a great impression, and I wondered if the Lord was closing the door.  But then he was suddenly pulled away, and another salesman took over — someone I connected with right away.

As we got into the car for the test drive, I mentioned that one reason I liked this model was the upgraded audio system. I told him I’m a worship musician who also records Christian music, so analyzing mixes on a good stereo mattered to me.  Just as I finished saying that, I pressed the ignition.

Instantly, the car filled with a blast of worship music.

The radio had somehow been left tuned to a small Christian station in the area, the volume cranked so high that the answer to my prayers felt unmistakable.

In the words of James 1:5, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.” God knows exactly how to get our attention at the right moment.

That day, He didn’t just give me an answer — He made sure it was loud and clear.
