More than GPS
Remember when we actually had to give directions to help visitors find our houses? We had it all memorized—distances, landmarks, and turns.
“…Go left at the McDonald’s… follow that road for a mile and bear right at the gas station… when you pass the school, take a right onto Elm Street… we’re the third house on the left.”
It was practically an art form.
These days, GPS and smartphones have taken care of all that. Most of us don’t even think about directions. We trust Google to get us there.
But what if we were asked for spiritual directions? Suppose a friend wanted to know how to become a Christian, or had questions about faith, forgiveness, or hope. Would we feel ready to walk alongside them and point the way?
1 Peter 3:15 reminds us, "If someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.”
The internet is powerful, informative resource, but God more often draws people closer to Him through personal connections and conversations. Take a few moments today to revisit key Scriptures that have shaped your own faith, so you’ll be ready to share the good news with clarity and confidence when the opportunity arises.
