  1. Read Exodus Chapters 19 and 20. Picture the awesome sight of Mount Sinai when the Law was given to Moses by God. Aren’t you thankful that you are living in the period of grace?

  2. Mount Zion, in contrast to Mount Sinai, symbolizes our position in Christ under the New Covenant with all the associated blessings and privileges that are ours as believers. We have come to Mount Zion. This is our position now. Review the seven wonderful things that believers have come to in Mount Zion.

CHALLENGE

  1. Read Haggai 2:6, quoted in Hebrews 12:26. In the future there is going to be a great shake-up, and only those things of eternal value will remain. In light of these scriptures, ask yourself what you are doing with your time, talents, and money. Looking at this seriously, should you review and perhaps change some of your priorities?
