Growing Christians Ministries is a Bible teaching ministry that was started in 1973 by Dr. David R. Reid, a former faculty member of Emmaus Bible College. He knew that "becoming" a Christian is just the beginning. To "be" Christians, we must learn and grow! With this goal in mind, "Dr. Dave" began to develop ways to facilitate steady spiritual growth. Starting with the concept of "one page at a time," GCM has expanded from short essays (Devotions for Growing Christians, begun in 1973) to lectures of concentrated material (Courses for Growing Christians, 1990) to audio messages (Talks for Growing Christians, 1994). All these resources will be helpful to growing Christians.

eDevotions

eDevotions is a bi-monthly publication of Growing Christians Ministries, Inc. It is the continuation of 30 years of "Devotions for Growing Christians" which are also available and indexed on this web site. eDevos are specifically written to be sent as a periodic email but are also mailed, by request, via US Mail. Back issues of eDevos are indexed along with "Devotions for Growing Christians."

Devotions

Devotions for Growing Christians are short biblical essays on topics which cover just about every aspect of Christian knowledge and living. Each "Devotion" has numerous biblical references so you can see for yourself what God's Word has to say about each subject. The "Devotions" are indexed by topics and Scriptures.

Radio Talks

Talks for Growing Christians are 15-minute messages originally designed for radio broadcast. The "Talks" take you through entire books of the Bible, section by section. Feel free to download any of the "Talks" for personal use or for public broadcast. "Talks for Growing Christians" are also available on audio cassette and CDs. Courses

Courses for Growing Christians are college level courses presented in classroom style. The taped lectures are from several of Dr. Reid's courses taught at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa. All courses consist of 24 lectures, about 40 minutes each, with Study Guides. "Courses for Growing Christians" are also available on audio cassette or CDs with Study Guides.
